About Paul

​Paul has over 40 years of experience in Consulting and project services. Since the late 80s he has been at the forefront of innovations in technology, Quality and EHS. His achievements include; pioneering J-I-T in the services sector overseeing the first mobile data application for the transport sector and developing the first cloud based applications in the EHS sector He was co-founder of 2 of Europe’s leading practices in Telecom and QHSE, selling both in the late 90s to become a business coach and private investor.

In 2005 Paul co-founded Shirley Parsons as a comprehensive professional services organisation specialising in Quality and EHS services with operations in the UK, Europe and the USA

EHS Manager

$80k - 90k per year + 10-15% annual bonus


A leading packaging manufacturing company is looking to appoint an EHS Manager to oversee this function across multiple operations at one of their key locations. This position will sit within the senior management team for the location, acting as the standalone EHS professional within a high-risk, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be tasked with influencing a healthy safety culture, requiring the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at various levels of the business.The Role: Influences Plant, Production, Operations, Maintenance and site management to drive the EHS performance and results.Supports company interface with regulatory authorities for regulatory visits, requests and submissions for the region.Monitors changes to all EHS regulations pertaining to their area and reviews recommendations for incorporation into EHS management systems and standards in a timely manner.Accountable for managing site EHS documentation to include program design, EHS data collection and posting, training documentation, and EHS KPI reports.Participates as a leader for audits and assigns EHS resources to audits in their area. The Candidate: 3+ EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.Bachelor’s Degree in EHS, IH, Physical Science/Engineering or a related technical field.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage othersStrong knowledge of OSHA regulations.
