Celebrating 21 Years by Giving Back: Supporting Leukaemia UK
In 2026, Shirley Parsons marks 21 years of connecting talent and making a difference. To mark this milestone, we’ve partnered with Leukaemia UK, with the goal of raising £21,000 to support research, treatment, and families affected by blood cancers. This cause is especially close to our hearts, as members of our team have been personally touched by leukaemia.
Making an Impact Together
Throughout the year, our team will take part in fundraising events, challenges, and initiatives to help us reach our goal. Every donation and effort brings us closer to making a meaningful difference, turning our anniversary celebration into a real opportunity to Do Good and support families across the UK.

Gold CSR Accreditation
In 2024, Shirley Parsons proudly achieved Gold CSR Accreditation, reflecting our dedication to social responsibility and sustainability across every aspect of our business. This milestone builds on our CSR journey: from Bronze in 2019, to Silver in 2021, culminating in Gold and making us the first company to achieve re-accreditation.
These awards recognize how we embed social, environmental, ethical, human rights, and consumer considerations into our strategy and daily operations – a badge of honour we wear with pride.

Brookside NHS Clinic
Brookside Clinic in Aylesbury supports patients recovering from strokes and brain injuries, helping them regain confidence, skills, and independence. We partner with the clinic to provide practical support through their Work Preparation Group, assisting with CV writing, interview preparation, and mock interviews. Our volunteers have also refreshed the patient recovery garden, creating a more welcoming and therapeutic outdoor space.
We’re proud to continue supporting Brookside and encourage all employees to make the most of their volunteering days.
Florence Nightingale Hospice
Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity was our partner for 2024 and 2025. Since 1989, they have provided vital care to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families, operating the county’s only bedded unit for respite and end-of-life support free of charge. Throughout 2025, our staff supported the hospice by wrapping Christmas presents, collecting stamps, serving refreshments, and running our annual charity raffle with prizes from local businesses. Shirley Parsons is proud to continue contributing to the important work of FNH in our community.
Volunteering at Los Angeles Regional Food Bank
Each year, our North American team proudly volunteers with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, assisting with warehouse operations, sorting food, and distributing essential supplies to support families in need. We also collaborate with the Long Beach community on litter-picking initiatives, helping protect local ecosystems and create cleaner, safer public spaces. Additionally, we raised funds to support communities affected by the devastating wildfires in early 2025, extending our commitment to those in need
Rotary Shoebox Scheme
The shoebox appeal is a well-known charitable initiative in the United Kingdom. Every year, the Shirley Parsons team contributes to a charity called the Rotary Shoebox Scheme, donating items to bring joy to underprivileged kids and adults in Eastern Europe.
Volunteering at Buurtboerderij Nieuweweg
In the Netherlands, our team supported Buurtboerderij Nieuweweg, an organic farm focused on permaculture and community education. Our volunteers got hands-on with farming, engaged with the local community, and learned sustainable practices such as repurposing sheep wool, using wood chips to enrich soil, and reducing water usage.
