With over 18 years of executive and non-executive experience in mega-project assurance and delivery across automotive, construction, and nuclear industries, she excels in leading large multi-disciplinary teams on complex programs with multiple stakeholders. Kenna specialises in project and program delivery, risk management, investment appraisal, and transformational change. Currently, she serves as an NED on the Board of Hinkley Point C and at the British Transport Police Authority, bringing her expertise to bear on critical projects. Principal Environmental Health Consultant Berkhamsted Permanent £50,000 to £55,000 per annum + benefits Shirley Parsons have partnered with a Consultancy specialising in food safety who have an opening for a Principal Environmental Health Consultant to join their close-knit team. The post holder will be responsible for providing food hygiene, allergen management and health and safety expertise to small, large, and multisite food manufacturing, retail, and hospitality clients. This opportunity offers a hybrid working arrangement and will suit candidates residing in or around Berkhamsted, with the ability to commit to travel to client sites. The Principal Environmental Health Consultant will be responsible for: Ensuring the team of consultants, and clients, are kept up to date with relevant legislation and industry best practice.Building strong relationships whilst onboarding new clients and supporting existing clients.Identifying opportunities for improvements to client operations and internal products/services.Supporting in the recruitment of new, and development of existing, consultants within the team. The ideal Principal Environmental Health Consultant requires: Previous background in Food Safety and/or Environmental Health, with an understanding of the enforcement process.Experience ideally working in Consultancy or coming from a Local Authority background.Relevant supporting qualifications such as an Environmental Health or Health and Safety degree/diploma.A positive, self-motivated, reliable, and organised professional looking to make a difference.
