About Helen

​Helen is an Account Manager at Shirley Parsons and specialises in the Renewable Energy Sector, helping find HSE and Quality professionals in the Wind Farm construction industry around the world.

She is a Partner at Identify Networks, part of Identify Group, comprising Shirley Parsons (HSEQ) and Identify Networks and, has been with the company since 2012.

Previous experience includes Advertising and International Couriers. Her first role was as a recruiter in the Telco and IT sector, which she then progressed into a team lead and account manager role, looking after a major global client in the Telco sector, which she still does. She also helps manage Shirley Parsons largest Renewable energy client since 2019.

Helen studied Psychology at University and is passionate about treating everyone as equal.

With three grown up daughters, Helen enjoys spending time with her family and having fun together. She enjoys cooking and watching cooking programmes as well as travelling and exploring new places. She also enjoys music festivals and is always ready for a party.

Shirley Parsons have exclusively partnered with a leading consultancy in health and safety and ergonomics who are looking for a motivated Health & Safety Consultant to support with a client's warehousing and fulfilment centre in the Nottingham area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, is keen to grow within the field and be part of a team that values quality work, personal development, and making a difference. The Health & Safety Consultant will be responsible for: Implementing health and safety systems and processes at a warehousing site in Nottingham.Conducting risk assessments, audits, and investigations to ensure safety compliance.Delivering effective solutions and negotiating their implementation on-site.Motivating and training managers and staff on health and safety best practices.Managing multiple high-priority situations and communicating effectively with all levels of staff. The Health & Safety Consultant will have: At least two years of health and safety experience, ideally within a consultancy or warehousing environment.A dynamic and positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using various health and safety tools and techniques.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports.A willingness to travel throughout the UK and work independently without supervision. Qualifications: Minimum: NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) and TechIOSH.Desirable: NEBOSH National Diploma Level 6 (or equivalent), Cert/GradIOSH.
