Beyond HSEQ: The Hackathon takes place 18th September 2023 and is the third event in the series. This time it’s hosted by Jay Vekaria, Director of HSE and Risk Management at Visa HQ, who has played an instrumental role in the development of Beyond HSEQ since its inception last Autumn.
Beyond HSEQ: The Hackathon follows in the footsteps of events hosted by James Pomeroy at Arup, the SHP News team at Informa, and the keynote theatre session at Safety & Health Expo.

So far, Beyond HSEQ has brought together over 120 leaders from across a wide variety of organisations who want to drive the profession forward.
Key topics have centred around the true ‘purpose’ of the profession - our ‘why’; how we can communicate more effectively; and how human connection is the true value-add in a changing, tech-driven world.
This time around will see Beyond HSEQ’s first ‘hackathon’ where attendees will be tasked with creating solutions to a real-life problem. The third event in the series promises to more dynamic, targeted and disruptive than before, with attendees expected to bring an open mind, creativity, and a strong sense of play.
