About Sarah

​Hi, I’m Sarah and I lead on senior appointments within Sustainability and ESG, across the UK and Europe. I have worked on senior hires for a number of years and have been in recruitment for close to ten, including managing teams during this period.

My recruitment background is both inhouse and agency, allowing me to appreciate what it is like on both sides and really understand those I work with. I have been fortunate to have recruited individuals across all industries and I continue to develop my knowledge with every appointment.

Environmental & Sustainability Advisor Location: Birmingham or Lancashire Permanent Up to £40k + company car We are exclusively partnered with a leading infrastructure company, who are looking for an Environmental and Sustainability Advisor to join their team on a significant rail maintenance contract.This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced environmental and sustainability professionals and continue to learn.This position does require you to be on site and travel to other sites, therefore you must have a full UK driving license.The Environmental Advisor will be responsible for: Supporting on environmental and sustainability matters by providing advice on site. This support will be to both internal and external stakeholders.Carrying out environmental assessments and audits.Ensuring environmental compliance on site.Participate in wider environmental and sustainability projects such as social value.Suggesting ways to mitigate risks and make improvements.Provide reports on results and findings. Environmental & Sustainability Manager Location: Cheshire/Staffordshire Permanent Up to £55k + company car We are exclusively partnered with a major civil engineering company who are looking for an Environmental & Sustainability Manager to join their team.As Environmental & Sustainability Manager you will be leading on several environmental aspects, helping to deliver environmental and sustainability deliverables on a large-scale rail maintenance contract. Strong communication skills are necessary as you will be interacting with both internal and external stakeholder, including the supply chain.This position will require you to travel to different sites, therefore you must have a full UK driving license.The Sustainability Manager will be responsible for: Driving environmental and sustainability aspects on site to ensure successful delivery.Being a main point of contact to the business, advising on key areas associated with sustainability, environmental and social issues, using your expert knowledge.Ensuring potential risks across projects and sites are being mitigated.Ensuring environmental and sustainability standards are being implemented and met.Ensuring best practices are being followed and continuous improvement is being adopted.Making sure staff have relevant environmental training.Guaranteeing that there are full investigations carried out for all incidents and near misses.
