Shirley Parsons is partnering with a Biotechnology Research company looking to bring on a Head of EHS to lead and elevate their safety, health, and environmental strategy. You will oversee the daily execution of environmental, health, and safety initiatives, manage compliance documentation, coordinate external vendor partnerships, and lead regulatory reporting across five locations, while fostering strong relationships with regulatory agencies and maintaining operational excellence across these facilities.
The Role:
- Oversee the administration and integrity of EH&S documentation across all sites, ensuring policies, procedures, emergency plans, and compliance records remain accurate, current, and audit-ready.
- Serve as a key resource for new member organizations, helping them navigate safety requirements, compliance obligations, and operational space planning expectations.
- Act as the primary EH&S resource for resident companies, providing day-to-day guidance, addressing inquiries, and directing stakeholders to appropriate resources and solutions.
- Provide training and ongoing support to the operations team on safety standards, risk prevention practices, and emergency response procedures.
The Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in a life science, environmental science, public health, or related field.
- Laboratory and/or startup experience that gives you fluency with how scientists work.
- 5+ years of EHS experience in a Biotechnology or Life Science environment.
- Excellent communication skills bother verbal and written as well as strong attention to detail.
