Principal Climate & Carbon Consultant
London
£55,000 basic salary + benefits
We are currently working with one of the UK’s leading independent infrastructure and property consultancies, specialising in environment, planning and sustainability.
The Principal Climate & Carbon Consultant will be responsible for:
- Working with the Team's Director to provide project delivery of climate change assessments at a major project level
- Providing technical expertise in one or more of the following fields: climate change mitigation analysis, whole life carbon assessment (building and/or infrastructure), circular economy, low carbon technologies and energy efficiency, climate change adaptation, greenhouse gas emissions inventories/analysis, carbon models/tools,
- Producing technical report for clients, including writing, checking and review of deliverables.
- Developing client relationships and undertake bidding work including preparing, contributing to and reviewing bids/tenders.
The Principal Climate & Carbon Consultant will have:
- A passion for the environment and delivering proven sustainability outcomes.
- Educated to degree level in a relevant field with further degree or professional qualification advantageous.
- Specialism in one or more key climate change fields, and/or experience in EIA consultancy for built environment and infrastructure.
- Experience of managing and taking responsibility for delivering successful projects of different sizes.
