James is a specialized EHS recruiter focused on identifying and placing top-tier Environmental, Health & Safety professionals for organizations across a wide range of industries throughout the United States. His expertise includes sourcing high-caliber EHS talent, evaluating technical and cultural fit, preparing candidates for every stage of the interview process, and partnering closely with both clients and candidates through offer negotiation to ensure successful, long-term placements.
James began his journey with Shirley Parsons in 2026 as a Recruiter.
After graduating from USC, James gained experience working within the investment banking, private equity, and digital asset sectors. Throughout his career, he has learned how to source and evaluate new opportunities and manage multiple clients. With his background, James advises both candidates and clients throughout the entire hiring process.
James’ approach to recruiting is built on transparency, responsiveness, and developing genuine relationships with the professionals and organizations he partners with. He believes that successful recruiting goes beyond matching skills on a resume, taking the time to understand each candidate’s career aspirations, motivations, and long-term goals.
Outside of work, James is an independent artist, songwriter, and producer. He’s worked with some of the biggest artists in the world and is currently preparing to release his own album. Additionally, he loves to travel, ride his motorcycle, and try new matcha spots.
