A leading industrial manufacturing organization is looking to add an EHS Manager to support operations across two facilities in the Roseburg, OR area. This person will play a key role in strengthening environmental, health, and safety performance while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Working closely with operations and leadership teams, the successful candidate will drive a proactive safety culture, enhance risk management processes, and support long-term sustainability initiatives. The Role
- Lead environmental, health, and safety programs across multiple manufacturing locations, promoting a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analyses while driving corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage core safety programs including LOTO, Hazard Communication, Emergency Action Planning, Respiratory Protection, Hearing Conservation, and related compliance initiatives.
- Oversee environmental compliance activities including air permitting, hazardous waste management, stormwater programs, spill prevention, regulatory reporting, and sustainability efforts.
- Analyze EHS performance data, provide reporting to leadership, support emergency preparedness, and partner with operations to continuously improve safety and environmental performance.
The Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering safety training programs while influencing employees and leadership at all levels.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and environmental compliance requirements, including hazardous waste and regulatory reporting programs.
- Self-motivated professional with excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills; valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally.
