A growing HVAC and refrigeration services organization is seeking a Claims Analyst to support its risk management and employee safety initiatives. This person will play a key role in overseeing workers’ compensation and insurance claims, helping to reduce risk exposure while ensuring effective communication among employees, managers, and third-party administrators. The position offers an opportunity to make a direct impact on claim outcomes, return-to-work programs, and overall operational efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing claim administration, stakeholder collaboration, and risk mitigation efforts.

The Role

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between employees, management, third-party administrators, and other stakeholders regarding workers’ compensation and insurance claims.
  • Manage active workers’ compensation cases, focusing on cost containment, return-to-work strategies, and ongoing claim oversight.
  • Gather and review information related to property, insurance, and employee injury claims, ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
  • Maintain records and tracking systems for insured assets, claims activity, and risk management reporting.
  • Support broader risk management initiatives, training efforts, and administrative projects as needed.

The Candidate

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing workers’ compensation claims, with a strong understanding of claim processes and risk management principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with risk management information systems; experience with Riskonnect or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, contractors, clients, and external partners.
  • Highly detail-oriented, able to manage confidential information, work independently, and ensure accuracy in claim documentation and reporting.
