A nationally recognized construction and infrastructure organization is seeking an experienced EHS Manager – Construction Safety to support large-scale, complex build projects across multiple sites in the Columbus, OH area. The Role
- Lead and enhance construction safety programs across multiple active project sites
- Oversee and mentor site safety professionals to ensure consistent policy execution
- Partner with project leadership, contractors, and field teams to embed safety into project planning and delivery
- Conduct audits, site assessments, and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions and preventative measures
- Track and report on key safety performance metrics, ensuring alignment with OSHA and regulatory standards
The Candidate
- 8–10 years of construction safety experience, including leadership responsibility
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and experience in complex construction environments
- Proven ability to influence safety culture and collaborate across cross-functional teams
- OSHA 30 certification required; STS-C or CHST (or willingness to obtain quickly)
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience); CSP or similar certification preferred
