​Liam is a Careers Consultant at Shirley Parsons and joined the company at the beginning of 2023.

He specialises in permanent positions and works within the Utilities, Telecoms and Oil and Gas sectors.

Starting out in Education and Childrens Services as a Teaching Assistant, Liam then became a Care Manager before moving into recruitment and has worked in Healthcare, Tech Sales and Marketing Recruitment before HSEQ.

Liam is also a DJ, Songwriter, Comedy Writer and an avid Poker player.

In his spare time when he’s not helping fill positions, he enjoys playing sports, including golf, and is a huge Arsenal fan.

Senior Environmental Engineer

Shirley Parsons is looking to recruit a Senior Environmental Engineer to join a leading emission control solutions provider, focused within the industrial, coal-fired utilities and municipal water markets. This individual will be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance and excellence across all operations and facilities.   This role will be based at their largest facility located in Coushatta, LA, just outside Shreveport. This is a on-site position and will require the candidates to live locally in the greater Shreveport area. Relocation assistance will be provided for non-local candidates. The Role: Develop, implement, and maintain monitoring systems to ensure reliable and accurate data for performance reporting related to air emissions, water discharges, and waste managementAct as a liaison between the plant and all regulatory agencies while ensuring the plant's compliance with all relevant environmental regulationsWork closely with site leaders to ensure compliance with program requirements.Review and analyze environmental documentation issued by regulatory agencies.• Coordinate and deliver environmental training for site employees, contractors and vendors The Candidate: Bachelor’s Degree in environmental engineering, environmental science or related fieldAt a minimum 5 years experience working in an environmental compliance role in either a chemical manufacturing, petrochemical or similar industrial environmentExtensive environmental permitting experience is required - Air, Waste and WaterHappy to live and work in the Shreveport, LA area - hybrid work is not available for this role
