This EHS Manager will role will require travel around 3 sites in the Texas area and is in charge of implementing and enforcing safety policies and ensuring all facilities are in line with OSHA and EPA guidelines.  The Role: Conduct safety trainings for the plants and document training schedules for the facilities. Lead site safety audits and create reports to resolve any safety issues that arise to prevent future incidents.Work closely with coordinators to promote a safe environment across all facilities.Drive all corporate EHS campaigns and initiatives through toolbox talks and safety meetings. Provide documentation such as JSA's and SOP's.  The Candidate:  5 years of experience working in a manufacturing or general industry environment. Construction experience is a plus. OSHA 500/501, 510/511 and the ability to teach OSHA 10 classes. Bilingual in English and Spanish.Familiar with 1910 and 1926 OSHA standards. Experienced writing safety policies and programs.

This individual will be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance and excellence across all operations and facilities.   This role will be based at their largest facility located in Coushatta, LA, just outside Shreveport. This is a on-site position and will require the candidates to live locally in the greater Shreveport area. Relocation assistance will be provided for non-local candidates.
