Job Title: Technical Supervisor / Technical Field Advisor / - D6/D8


Job Location: Taiwan - Office based


Job Type: Contract (6 months+)


Job Description:



We are seeking an experienced Technical Supervisor to support us with ongoing Offshore projects located in Taiwan. For this uniquely positioned contract, the ideal candidate must have expertise with D6 and D8 SGRE Turbines. Additionally, being well-versed in Direct Drive systems would also be a huge value-add to the team.



This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful ongoing delivery operations of the offshore projects in Taiwan.


Key Responsibilities:



Serve as the Technical Supervisor, Technical Lead, or Lead Trouble Shooter focusing on D6 and D8 SGRE Turbine technology.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to support troubleshooting teams in resolving turbine issues.
Collaborate with the project team to ensure the efficient and safe operation of offshore wind projects.
Oversee the maintenance and performance optimization of SGRE turbines.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures


Qualifications:



Proven experience in SGRE turbine projects with direct experience working with D6 and D8 turbines.
Familiarity with Direct Drive systems is a plus.
Valid GWO certifications, including Sea Survival.
Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.


Contract Details:



Contract length: 6 months or longer, subject to project requirements.
Office-based role working Monday to Friday.
Non-rotational - The candidate will likely be required to stay in Taiwan for long durations. However, suitable arrangements are still to be organised and open to discussion.
