【Introduction】

Our client is an automated logistic system provider with more than 200 years across cloth, beverage and food, retail, logistic industry, and so on.

【The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for】

• Review and develop mechanical design at system and component level with consideration to safe operation, the environment and product/system sustainability

• Perform product design and testing for internal product development

• Ensure compliance with Mechanical Engineering Excellence Processes (MSP.ENG.3008) and support continual improvement through LEAN initiatives

• Ensure operator/personnel safety as a primary focus when designing products and systems • Ensure safety and wellbeing of mechanical design team members during all activities (including site)

• Support site installation team with technical advice and assist with system commissioning

• Develop inspection and test plans and assist with testing/prototyping

• Liaise with client, architect, builder, design consultants and suppliers

• Closely liaise with procurement team to ensure on-time delivery of quality product

• Work with procurement team to ensure purchased in products and services meet required specification

【The Mechanical Engineer will have】

• Strong knowledge and understanding of typical mechanical engineering theory, processes, and practices

• Competent in Mechanical calculations (e.g. motor calculations, compressed air calculations, etc.)

• Competent in preparation of technical documentation including product & training manuals

• Competent in safety hazard identification and risk assessment generation

• Competent in use of Microsoft Office software

• Moderate competence in 2D design and drafting (Autodesk AutoCAD)

• Basic competence in 3D design and drafting (preferably Autodesk Inventor)

• Knowledge of intra-logistics concepts, systems and products highly advantageous

• Experience in Project environment and collaborations with multiple stakeholders

• Basic English language proficiency
