Introduction - Our client is the biggest EPC company in Japan. Their business accross Energy, Transition, Industrial industry, and so on.
The role will be responsible for:
- Be part of a multi-disciplined maintenance support team, reviewing existing maintenance procedures and determining I putting in place future recommendations
- Provide day to day mechanical rotating equipment support and advice to the maintenance teams
- Supervision of the construction of geothermal power plants, at the various locations of installation, provide experience in mechanical industrial construction and contract supply completion
- Development work plan and follow ups on progress during the construction
- Examination mechanical design drawings and specifications
- Project scheduling assistance in and of evaluations for 3rd party contract bid development
- Liaise and co-ordinate with different discipline Supervisors, Projects Engineers, End Users, Asset Holders and other client relevant departments
- Review the project planning and scheduling for projects during the construction phase, identify any construction slippages and assist in optimising the contractor's resources
- Review construction method statements, pre commissioning procedures and endorse red mark drawings and project dossiers
- Inspect construction works and materials in accordance with project Quality plans and Inspection & Test plans
Ther role will have:
- Actual experience of rotary equipment(pumps or reciprocating compressor) installation.
- Can read, understand and interpret rotary equipments(pumps and reciprocating compressor) plan/drawing
- Can monitor and communicate properly the daily activity with subcon team and make correction if needed
- Can liase/coordinate with other discipline supervisor on site especially on SIMOPS activity
- Familiar with QC inspection activity sch as vertical and horizontal alignment, motor to pump coupling alignment, bolt torquing, etc.
