Salary: OTE uncapped

Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire (Head Office), with hybrid working.

The Opportunity: The Director of Search is a senior leadership role driving our entire search process. We seek a search professional with a deep understanding of the search industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a track record of delivering top-tier executive placements.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on C-Suite with an unrivalled understanding of their executive talent needs.
  • Lead business development efforts, identify new opportunities, and contribute to divisional growth.
  • Manage a small team of search consultants, researchers, and support staff, fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
  • Oversee end-to-end executive search process, ensuring timely project delivery and maintaining high standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, talent pools, and competitor activities.
  • Develop and implement effective search strategies to attract top executive talent.
  • Personally engage with senior-level candidates, conducting in-depth interviews and assessments.
  • Ensure a rigorous evaluation process to match candidates with client requirements.
  • Uphold ethical and legal standards in executive search practices.
  • Implement quality control measures for candidate assessments and documentation.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Extensive experience in search and recruitment with a successful track record at C-suite and senior executive levels.
  • Experience of the HSEQ and/or sustainability market would be preferred but not essential.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of industries and sectors related to executive search.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and exceed client expectations.
  • Ethical and professional conduct in all interactions.
