Senior Water Specialist (Hydrogeologist)

We are currently working with a leading organization involved in a major project, seeking an experienced Senior Water Specialist to join their team.
As a Senior Water Specialist, you will support the Consents Team in scoping groundwater consent applications and producing essential documentation related to water and groundwater environments
The Senior Water Specialist will be responsible for:
- Scoping and producing documentation for groundwater consent applications.
- Reviewing and updating permanent works design documentation.
- Attending meetings with stakeholders and representing the team on technical water-related matters.
- Supporting groundwater and surface water monitoring programs.
- Providing technical analysis and reports on water monitoring programs.
The Senior Water Specialist will have:
- Membership of an environmental/water professional body.
- Sound understanding of hydrogeology, surface water/groundwater, and dewatering monitoring design.
- Experience dealing with the Environment Agency and applying for consents/permits.
- Good experience with temporary dewatering processes and risk assessment.
- Understanding of collaborative problem-solving and excellent communication skills.
