Talent Consultant

About Thea

Thea is a Talent Consultant at Shirley Parsons and specialises in Renewable Energy Contracts throughout Europe.

Originally joining the company as a Careers Consultant in 2022, Thea quickly became involved in Projects Services and Shirley Parsons expansion into the renewables sector.

Working as a candidate manager, Thea liaises with the biggest renewable clients to identify the best candidates for the specialised types of roles they are trying to fill as well as what the different progression paths into the industry involve.

“I absolutely love my role. Renewable energy is such an evolving industry, and you learn something new every day. I'm really passionate about renewable energy and enjoy contributing to a greener future. I also get a lot out of building relationships with my candidates. Even if I don't have an opportunity or a project available for them straight away, there's a lot of people I check in with from time to time and have built a great rapport with.”

In her spare time, Thea, who is originally from the Lake District, enjoys spending time in the countryside and going for long walks as well as reading plenty of Fantasy Fiction, such as Terry Pratchett. Although her work in Renewable Energy is keeping her busy, Thea is planning on climbing Snowdon for the first time later in 2023.
