The incumbent will lead their environmental compliance and permitting systems, programs and strategy. The successful candidate will need a strong understanding of environmental compliance programs, tasked with developing and maintaining site environmental procedures.The Role: Oversee and manage all environmental compliance, reporting, permitting and certifications for the company; these include air permitting and reporting, spill prevention, hazardous waste, storm water and wastewater programs.Provide technical guidance and stay up to date on all relevant environmental standards and regulations that impact the organization, at federal, state and local level.Oversee and lead all environmental audits and collaborate with various stakeholders to implement corrective action plans, based on these findings.Act as liaison to local, state, and federal agencies and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be tasked with influencing a healthy environmental culture, requiring the ability to operate, maintain and monitor environmental equipment and programs.The Role: Influences Plant, Production, Operations, Maintenance, and site management to drive Environmental performance and results.Supports company interface with regulatory authorities for regulatory visits, requests, and submissions for the region.Monitor daily operation and calibration of all environmental equipment.Accountable for managing site Safety documentation to include program design, EHS data collection and posting, training documentation, and Safety KPI reports.Participates as a leader for audits and assigns EHS resources to audits in their area.  The Candidate: 6+ years EHS experience within a manufacturing background.Bachelor’s Degree in EHS or Safety-related technical field.Solid experience of Machine-guarding, LOTO, PIT & Ergonomic Safety programs.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage others.General knowledge of EPA regulations
