Description

An international manufacturing organization is looking to appoint a Process Safety Specialist to support the PSM function at their manufacturing and R&D facility in the Woodbury, NJ area.

The Role:

• Perform process safety testing and PHAs 
• Works with key decision makers and site leaders to ensure compliance to regulations and standards
• Provide advice and guidance on all process safety management elements
• Help develop/train in-house engineering and operations staff so that PSM practices become fully integrated as part of their area of responsibility

The Candidate:

• B.S. Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field
• 5+ years of PSM experience in chemical manufacturing and lab settings
• Experience creating and implementing process safety policies
• Must have excellent communication, multitasking and leadership skills
