We have partnered with a global leading manufacturing organisation who specialise in flavourings, extracts, and essences for the food and drink Industry. They are seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to be the lead at their UK HQ in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

You will be joining the business an exciting time and will be responsible for continuing to drive HSE strategy forward at this key site, whilst working in partnership with the wider global HSE team.
The Health, Safety and Environmental Manager will be responsible for:
- Promote a positive HSE culture across the business
- Work with the site leadership team to create and deploy a formal Safety Health and Environmental strategy that aligns with the overall global strategy
- You will be involved with carrying out accident investigations, risk assessments, audits, providing training, developing management systems and keeping abreast of new regulations
- Monitoring and developing Health and Safety performance within the business, ensuring standards and company objectives are met
- Manage and maintain compliance to ISO14001
- Coaching and development of HSE Coordinator
The Health, Safety and Environmental Manager Candidate will have:
- NEBOSH General as a minimum, Diploma is preferable
- You will have experience working in HSE role, ideally within FMCG or Chemical but they are very open to other manufacturing backgrounds
- You will have a positive, proactive approach to your work, with strong communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Experience in leading internal and external H&S and Environmental audits
- Leadership and influencing skills are crucial
- Experience / Knowledge of Coshh / Atex / transporting hazardous goods is highly desirable
