We are pleased to have partnered with a brilliant charity who are looking to appoint a Health and Safety Manager to join the organisation. This will be a standalone position and will be predominantly covering the social housing portfolio across Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for:
Leading on all Health, Safety and Wellbeing matters across the organisation
Dealing with a range of stakeholders across the business, advising and guiding on all Health and Safety matters
Conducting site audits and inspections where necessary and creating relevant actions for the delivery teams
Working at a strategic level, reporting to the Health and Safety Committee at board level
The Health and Safety Manager will have:
3 + years in a Health and Safety position in a suitable sector e.g Care, Charity, Property, FM, Social Housing
Level 6 Diploma in Health and Safety such as a NEBOSH/NCRQ Diploma
Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
Ability to travel to the office and to sites across Yorkshire and surrounding areas weekly
