A successful, growing business within the utilities and power sectors is currently looking for a SHEQ Advisor to join their team. Overseeing projects for reputable clients within the Cambridgeshire/East Anglian region, you will be collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and drive a positive health and safety culture. The Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Driving and maintaining a dynamic and positive health and safety culture, ensuring compliance and support across the business
  • Visiting sites in the area to build relationships with teams
  • Preparing RAMS, assisting the wider SHEQ team, and supporting contractors and clients
  • Develop and implement all relevant health and safety standards, procedures, policies, and wider documentation
  • Using expertise and experiences to support and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders

The Health and Safety Advisor will have:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent as a minimum is essential. Holding or working towards a Diploma level qualification is desirable
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position within the utilities or power industry
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships
  • Full UK Driving Licence
