We have partnered with a leading manufacturing organisation who are looking to appoint a Head of HSEQ to lead and develop the strategy. As the Head of HSEQ you will be accountable for driving change and developing the safety culture within the group.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation, who have shown continual growth and are looking to appoint an engaging individual, to take HSEQ to the next level. A key project for business is for this person to lead on the implementation of an integrated management systems.

The Head of HSEQ will be responsible for:

- Create, develop and implement the HSEQ strategy across the UK, working closely with the senior leadership teams
- Implement an integrated HSEQ management system
- You will be a hands-on leader, understanding where you can make an immediate impact and what the long-term goals will be
- You will drive cultural change, bringing HSEQ and Compliance to the forefront
- Coaching, managing and developing senior stakeholders will be essential, for you to drive change and enable individuals and the business to be more proactive
- Lead a team of HSEQ professionals
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Gain ISO 45001 & 14001 accreditation

The Head of HSEQ candidate will have:

- Experience of working within a manufacturing or engineering environment is essential
- Proven experience of developing HSEQ strategies
- Experience of managing multisite operations is advantageous
- NEBOSH Gen as minimum ideally Diploma
- Previous experience implementing and auditing - ISO 9001, 14001, 45001
- Previous experience of managing a team
- Proven leadership skills - the ability to engage at all levels is vital
- Committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence
