A leading biotech company is seeking a EHS Advisor to join their existing EH&S department, tasked with supporting the implementation of safety programs across several operations. This position will have responsibilities across Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) with attention to biosafety, chemical safety, occupational safety and health, industrial hygiene, and radiation protection. The successful candidate will possess the ability to adapt quickly under various circumstances in a laboratory setting and demonstrate strong relationship building skills.
The Role:

Conduct inspections, hazard assessments, and compliance reviews of various laboratories and other facilities.

Conduct customized Lab Safety training including biological, chemical, general, and physical protection in laboratories.

Prepare and draft policies, guidelines, and procedures for the above hazards and processes.

Implement, maintain and develop applicable EH&S programs.

Develop written plans, training modules, and other communications.
The Candidate:

Bachelor’s Degree in safety, biology, or other related discipline

EHS experience in a R&D or lab setting strongly preferred

Professional certification or eligibility for certification (ASP, GSP, CSP, RBP, CIH) preferred

Exceptional written and oral communication skills and a collaborative attitude
