Description

A Fortune 100 manufacturer is seeking a Safety Analyst to serve as the point of contact for safety strategy and compliance across a multi building campus in the Rock Valley, IA area. The incumbent will be a key member of the leadership team, working cross-functionally to ensure that the company maintains the highest standards of excellence for health and safety.

The role:

• Serve as the department leader and subject matter expert for all health and safety programs, initiatives, metrics and goals
• Work with senior leadership to reinforce safety culture and engagement, using a behavior-based approach
• Liaise with regulatory agencies

The candidate:

• 3+ years of progressive safety leadership experience in a manufacturing setting
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline required
• Prior experience implementing programs on a similar scale (i.e. multiple complex sites)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, adept at interfacing with all levels of employees and influencing senior leadership
