We are currently working with a local authority who are looking for a Health and Advisor to join their team. This role will be based in Sutton and will see you working largely within the education sector and within a range of council buildings such as libraries and care homes.

The Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for:

• Providing Health and Safety support, ensuring high quality technical guidance is provided
• Undertaking research to ensure Health and Safety legislation is up to date
• Supporting in the undertaking of accident and incident investigations
• Travelling to sites across the borough conducting Safety tasks such as risk assessments

The Health and Safety Advisor will have:

• 12+ months experience in a Health and Safety position, in a relevant sector
• Level 3 Certificate in Health and Safety such as the NEBOSH / NCRQ Certificate as a minimum
• Willingness to travel both to the main office base and sites across the region
