Health & Safety Advisor
£30,000 - £37,000 per annum + package
Shirley Parsons have partnered exclusively with a popular leisure organisation who are looking to appoint a Health & Safety Advisor to support on exciting projects and experiences. The main purpose of the role is to provide leadership, drive accountability and competency in all aspects of safety across the projects and experiences. This opportunity is always a required presence on site and will suit candidates commutable to the Manchester area, with 5% of external travel expected. The Health & Safety Advisor will be responsible for:
Observing and managing any incidents, which may affect the health & safety of the team or guests.
Ensuring all operations conform to legal legislation with regards to health and safety requirements.
Supporting the team and managers in the co-ordination and safe delivery of new projects (seasonal).
Delivering Health & Safety training courses that are relevant to the team on a regular basis.
The ideal Health & Safety Advisor requires:
Experience in Health & Safety within the leisure sector or similar, particularly working with guest experiences and the risks associated.
Member of the European Ropes Course Association (ERCA) is highly desirable.
The NEBOSH General certificate would be advantageous.
Ability to work from heights, lead with confidence, and be influential throughout the business.
