About Gerry

​Gerry was a founding member of Shirley Parsons Professional Services in 2005 with the aim of becoming the world’s go-to organisation for HSEQ. With the business market leader in EMEA, Gerry co-founded Shirley Parsons in the US in 2014. It has now grown rapidly with locations in Boston and LA.

Gerry has been involved in Project Services since 2014 overseeing a strategic partnership that provides staff augmentation services delivering major projects across the renewable energy and technology sectors. In 2016, Gerry initiated Leadership First; a community that promotes a “Mind-set Approach” to long term change, leading to better business outcomes.

The Health and Safety Coordinator Bristol Permanent £28,000 - £32,000We have partnered with a family-owned manufacturing company, who are looking to appoint a Health and Safety Coordinator at their interesting site in Bristol. This role presents an ideal opportunity for individuals aspiring to embark on a career in safety, as well as those possessing 1-2 years of HSE experience seeking a new challenge on a truly unique site. Additionally, this role would be ideal for candidates with a background in operational roles within the manufacturing sector who are eager to transition into a full-time Health and Safety position. The Health and Safety Coordinator Coordinator needs to be someone who has a can-do attitude and is keen on building relationships at all levels. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our employees by implementing and maintaining effective health and safety programs. You will work closely with various departments to identify hazards, assess risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong organisational skills and a passion for promoting a culture of safety.
