  • Publish Date: Posted over 3 years ago

The second part of our webinar featuring the impact of rework on accidents and project cost saw John Morrison and our panel answer the key questions from the audience of more than 80 Quality professionals.

Jon Morrison briefed summarised the key findings from his research while Jon Elliot, Mark Worral and David Myers provided answers to the questions posed after the first session and gave attendees the chance to ask further questions about the impact of rework.

The video from the webinar should appear above this line. If you cannot see it please click here to view the recording of the webinar.

Some of the questions answered include:

  • How do we convince senior management that the right first time is worth the effort?

  • How can we get the UK Construction Industry to follow what the Australian Construction Industry has done by compiling meaningful data?

  • How does Progressive Assurance actually make sure that installations are carried out without error from the start?

  • How can we ensure that such an approach is embraced by all in the supply chain and is not just a great initiative for the Tier1 contractors?

The first part of the webinar about rework on the 14th of October was incredibly popular with more than 220 attendees.

As a result of the webinar, Shirley Parsons and LC International have launched a data recording initiative for the UK construction industry to track the impact of rework on UK construction projects. Please contact jonny.montgomery@shirleyparsons.com for details
