We’re pleased to have been retained exclusively by a leading facilities management company to appoint their HSEQ Director. This role is an excellent opportunity for the right person to develop their career in a strategic level role with a growing organisation that has a proactive and forward thinking approach to HSEQ. This is a senior level position, attracting a competitive executive package with the option of being based in the Midlands or home based, with national travel.
As HSEQ Director, you’ll take a leading and influential role in establishing clear business standards for HSEQ, developing a strategy that ensures these standards are successfully adopted and embedded throughout the organisation. You’ll maintain oversight of ongoing compliance and performance levels, establishing frameworks and driving engagement with senior stakeholders, to ensure all accreditations are maintained. Additionally the HSEQ Director will be required to have a strong commercial approach and be able to liaise with clients when required to provide support and advice.
To be successful, you’ll need proven leadership experience within a large, complex organisation, including previous accountability for developing and implementing strategy, policies and frameworks. Your communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills will be excellent.You’ll be a dynamic and personable leader who doesn’t mind getting hands-on when needed, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve your shared goals.
As this is an executive level role, CMIOSH status along with the NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) is required, ideally with a related degree.
