Shirley Parsons are partnered with a leading Education establishment that have an opening for a Health and Safety Manager. This role will see the successful candidate supporting a wide range of departments and staff on Health and Safety practices. The role is based in Leeds and will suit candidates with an engaging approach and the ability to build rapport at all levels. The Health and Safety Manager will have line management responsibilities and will suit candidates with experience of ISO 45001.

The Role:

Develop, implement and manage the organisation's Health and Safety policies and procedures
Create and deliver a range of H&S training and inductions
Investigate and report on all incidents, accidents and near misses
Conduct a range of risk assessments across the premises and ensure these are appropriately reviewed

The Candidate:

NEBOSH/ NCRQ Diploma; ideally Grad or Chartered IOSH
Experience in the education sector or complex environments
Engaging, personable and a proven influencer
Confident communicator, both written and verbally
