Shirley Parsons is currently working exclusively with a leading civil engineering business who are seeking an Environmental and Sustainability Advisor to join their team in Kent. This is a fantastic role, joining a team of progressive environmental specialists working on a high profile cabling project in the Kent region. Our client has a great reputation for environmental performance and is able to offer clear career progression as well as long-term stability in this role. 

The Role:

  • Ensure environmental compliance across a large cabling project in Kent, keep the company informed of any changes in legislation
  • Drive continuous improvement and a positive culture of environmental performance across the project, working in partnership with the client, subcontractors and regulatory bodies.
  • Implement, manage and maintain the ISO 140001 EMS

The Candidate:

  • Proven track record within the environmental sector, ideally from a construction or consultancy background
  • Excellent knowledge of environmental management
  • Degree qualified or equivalent in relevant environmental or sustainability subject
  • Full UK Driving License - essential
