We are currently working exclusively with a global leading manufacturing organisation, based near Manchester who are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join their business.

A brilliant opportunity to join a forward-thinking company who want to take safety to the next level at this site. You will be joining the business an exciting time and will be responsible for continuing to drive EHS strategy forward at this site, whilst working towards the wider global strategy.

The EHS Manager Role:

Promote a positive EHS culture across the business
You will provide day to day EHS advice
Set the site strategy
You will be involved with carrying out accident investigations, risk assessments, audits, providing training, developing management systems and keeping abreast of new regulations
Monitoring and developing Health and Safety performance within the business, ensuring standards and company objectives are met

The EHS Manager Candidate:

NEBOSH General as a minimum, Diploma is preferable
You will have experience working in EHS role, and experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment ideally FMCG
You will have a positive, proactive approach to your work, with strong communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
Knowledge of managing and maintaining 14001 & 45001
Experience in leading internal and external H&S and Environmental audits
