Currently we're working with a Data Center developer seeking a Construction Safety Manager to join their team to deliver support across the 5 key projects. This is a permanent role overseeing the full construction life cycle from pre-construction to fit-out. This role can be based out of either Portland, Oregon, Ashburn, Virginia.

It's a client requirement that candidates should have experience working in the data center market and have Bachelors Degree in Safety or qualified to CHST level

The Role:

• Safety Manager supporting all safety policies and programs 

• Driving a culture of "Safety First" across the business to reduce injuries and accidents

• Conduct site audits and inspections, devise and deliver Safety training

• Management of  EHS program, supporting, mentoring, delegating

• Assisting in evaluation and analysis of work place hazards and accidents 

The Candidate:

• A background in electrical safety is a pre-requisite 

• Strong experience with LOTO 

• Must have working knowledge of 29 CFR1926

• 3 years + experience working within safety

• Knowledge of NFPA 70E

• OSHA 500 or CHST
