We have partnered with a leading higher education establishment who are looking to bring on an Estates Health, Safety and Fire Advisor to join their internal team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and varied environment working across both the Health and Safety and Fire Safety teams.

The Estates Health, Safety and Fire Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Providing Health and Safety advice and guidance to departments and driving a strong safety culture throughout the university
  • Conducting compliance checks in areas such as asbestos, legionella and CDM regulations
  • Developing and implementing of the University's Fire Safety management system and preparation and maintenance of Fire Safety strategies
  • Working across campuses to ensure continuity across Safety and Fire

The Estates Health, Safety and Fire Advisor will have:

  • Experience working in Health and Safety and Fire Safety in a similar fast paced environment
  • A Level 3 certificate in Health and Safety such as NEBOSH/NCRQ Certificate
  • A Fire Safety qualification - desirable
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders
