£45,000 - £50,000 plus package

We have partnered with an industry leading certification organisation who are looking to appoint a Health, Safety and Environment Manager. This opportunity will see the successful candidate lead on HSE across the business, liaising at all levels up to the SLT which you will be part of. You will ideally be based in a commutable location to Dunstable, able to work on a hybrid basis and be willing to travel regionally.

The Health, Safety and Environment Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing, reviewing and improving the internal H&S management systems

  • Managing, mentoring and developing the H&S Coordinator

  • Contributing to the senior leadership team

  • Driving a strong safety culture within the business and implementing H&S initiatives in areas such as Occupational and Mental Health


The Health, Safety and Environment Manager will have:

  • Experience working in a Health and Safety position ideally within the certification sector

  • Level 6 Diploma in Health and Safety (Tech IOSH will be considered with suitable experience)

  • IEMA qualification or relevant Environmental experience desirable 

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels

  • UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally
