We are partnering with a highly successful co-educational school in Southall who are looking to employ a Health and Safety Officer. In this newly created position, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading on safety across the school, with assistance from the premises team.

** Term time only contract available **

The Health and Safety Officer will be responsible for:

• Ensuring compliance across the school, in line with Health and Safety regulations
• Conducting risk assessments and audits and updating policies and procedures where appropriate
• Implementing , managing and monitoring Health and Safety across the school site
• Communicating with staff and students to invoke a strong Safety culture

The Health and Safety Coordinator will have:

• Experience in a Health and Safety position in education or transferable sector
• Level 3 Certificate in Health and Safety such as NEBOSH/NCRQ as a minimum
• Good organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
