Shirley Parsons are excited to partner with an Events company, based in Dartford, who are looking to appoint a Health and Safety Manager into this newly created role. The successful candidate will be based on site in Dartford and will manage Health and Safety, with the support of the Health and Safety Director, across the business. This is an opportunity to get involved in some exciting live events and work in a forward-thinking and fast-paced company.
The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for:
- Working as part of the Health and Safety team to implement global strategic initiatives and goals within the UK business
- Assisting different business functions on Health and Safety, providing advice, training and guidance on all Health and Safety matters
- Creation of more complex Health and Safety documentation and document control of Safety and Training material
The Health and Safety Manager will have:
- Experience in Live Events in a Health and Safety position (essential)
- TechIOSH or equivalent, recognised qualification e.g. NEBOSH, NCRQ, NVQ
- Ability to commute to Dartford 5 days a week with ad-hoc travel to Events
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
