Description
We have been retained exclusively to work with a market leading Electrical Safety Testing and Compliance organisation who are looking to a hire a Health and Safety Manager. Based in Kent, this role will involve travel across the South East, including London to support a range of commercial clients. This is a stand alone position that holds overall responsibility for the organisation's Health and Safety strategies, policies and procedures.
The Health and Safety Manager will:
- Drive a positive Health and Safety culture throughout the organisation
- Audit and Maintain management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Be responsible for the organisation's Health and Safety compliance
- Report into the CEO and advise staff across the business on all H&S matters
The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:
- NEBOSH/ NCRQ Certificate or equivalent; ideally Diploma and member of IOSH
- Qualifications in Environmental or Quality would be beneficial
- Previous experience of maintaining ISO management systems
- The ability to influence and engage at all levels, including contractors and Senior Leadership Team
