We have a great opportunity to join the health and safety team of one of the biggest transportation clients in the world. The ideal person will be engaging, resilient, and forward-thinking in the way they drive health and safety in the workplace, as well as versatile in their approach to managing different tasks on a day-to-day basis. Due to the varied nature of this position, we are considering profiles of health and safety professionals from numerous sectors, however if you have experience in transportation, engineering, or environments with heavy foot-fall, that would be a distinct advantage.

The Health & Safety Advisor will be responsible for:

• Promoting a positive, proactive, and compliant health and safety culture across the business

• Undertaking site inspections, accident investigation and reporting near misses when required

• Collaborating with numerous contractors to ensure they are working in-line with the standards of the business, offering advice and guidance when needed

• Applying strong health and safety knowledge in a variety of business units, reviewing risk assessments and supporting wider teams

• Building relationships with colleagues at all levels of the business, in particular your health and safety team members

The Health & Safety Advisor will have:

• 5 years + experience working within the health and safety industry

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent is essential, NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent is desirable

• A bachelors degree level qualification or higher would be desirable, but is not essential

• Resilience and good time-management

• Strong communication and IT skills
