This is a great opportunity to join the health and safety team of a reputable and successful principal contractor. Based along the Hampshire coast, you will be overseeing projects of an infrastructure and telecoms nature to ensure excellent compliance and behaviours regarding health and safety. This opportunity offers the successful candidate the chance to continue their personal and professional development whilst working with one of the leading businesses in the country. All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and hold the NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent as a minimum.

The Health and Safety Advisor will be:

  • Supporting and working with project teams to ensure high standards of compliance and behaviours regarding health and safety
  • Ensuring that relevant legislation is being complied with regarding health and safety
  • Supporting the management team with matters regarding performance, standards, and compliance
  • Managing, reviewing, and reporting on data regarding health and safety related issues to be able to identify areas for improvement
  • Carrying out SHE audits and inspections as well as recording your findings

The Health and Safety Advisor will have:

  • 1.5 - 2 years' experience minimum working in a health and safety role within the utilities/infrastructure sector
  • NEBOSH/NCRQ Certificate or equivalent as a minimum
  • A full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Eligibility to work in UK
