We are currently working with a leading construction organisation, specialising in commercial and residential build who have opportunity for an Environmental Manager to join the business at group level. 

The Group Environmental Manager will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the effective implementation of the Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and ensure the successful management of the environmental impacts and aspects of projects throughout a business
  • Support project teams in project set up regarding; noise, air, vibration, ecology, water course and pollution compliance.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that the business has in place an EMS compliant with ISO14001.
  • Ensuring the implementation of policies, strategies, procedures and systems through regular audits and identify areas for improvement and that appropriate corrective and preventative actions are identified and managed to complete


The Group Environmental Manager will have:

  • Proven success as a lead in Environmental Management and delivery in a multi-site blue collar environment, ideally construction.
  • Thorough knowledge of Environmental legislation and ISO accreditations, with the ability to translate these into robust and effective policies and systems of work.
  • Excellent communicator at all levels and leads projects from the front
  • Line Management Experience
