We are working with a property management company to recruit an Assistant Health & Safety Manager. You will be supporting the wider Health and Safety team with the implementation of strategy, policies and procedures. Our client is looking for a H&S professional with the ability to influence and engage with all levels of the business. The Assistant Health and Safety Manager will be based in London or Slough, with home working and UK wide travel.

The Assistant Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for: 

  • Providing general Health & Safety advice to Directors, Managers, Staff and Contractors on legislative requirements with focus on Fire Safety, the management of asbestos, confined spaces, permit to work, working at height and general property risk
  • Developing and implementing areas of the H&S management system relevant to property management, as well as drafting guidance, bulletins, briefing notes and other documents as directed
  • Lead on incident investigation and monitor identified remedial actions and trends on behalf of property management
  • Delivering H&S training and new starter inductions


The Assistant Health and Safety Manager will have:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate/equivalent; ideally Tech IOSH
  • Previous experience of working in the Property Management/FM/Construction sectors
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commercially aware with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders
