Home based with site travel UK wide
12 month FTC
£50,000 - £55,000

We are partnering with a Health and Safety Consultancy, who are looking to bring on a Health and Safety Manager, embedded on a utilities/communications contract with a national telecoms services provider. This will be a 12 month FTC and will involve delivering Health and Safety services on MOD sites across the UK. The ideal candidate will have experience working on utilities, telecommunications, or Construction/build related projects within a Health and Safety role and have a collaborative, positive approach to influencing Health and Safety. All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and be GradIOSH as a minimum.

The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for:
Supporting and working with project teams to ensure high standards of compliance and behaviours regarding health and safety
Ensuring that relevant legislation is being complied with regarding health and safety
Supporting the management team with matters regarding performance, standards, and compliance
Managing, reviewing, and reporting on data regarding health and safety related issues to be able to identify areas for improvement
Carrying out SHE audits and inspections as well as recording your findings

The Health and Safety Manager will have:
4+ years' experience working in a health and safety role within the utilities/infrastructure sector/Construction
A level 6 qualification such as the NEBOSH/NCRQ Diploma as a minimum
GradIOSH / CMIOSH (essential)
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Eligibility to work in UK and hold security clearance ideally
