About Roisin

Hi! My name’s Roisín, and I’m a Careers Consultant in the Environmental and Sustainability team, supporting candidates across various sectors.

I have been working with Shirley Parsons since February 2022, and it’s been a crazy (but brilliant!) few months getting stuck into the industry and finding my feet in the company. I’ve always been passionate about the environment and making sustainable changes in my life. I’ve loved meeting and connecting with professionals in the industry who share those same values.

Before joining Shirley Parsons, I studied Theatre at the University of Reading. Subsequently, I spent 2 years as an assistant manager at a speciality coffee shop, where I gained priceless experience in a client-facing role and a love for quality coffee (I do miss the free espresso!).

Outside work, I try to spend as much time as possible engaging in my love for the arts, particularly fringe theatre. I also love a good gig, festival, or rave, and nothing makes me happier than dancing to some great music surrounded by my friends.

Unpopular opinion: milk doesn’t belong in coffee!
