An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Health & Safety professional to join a specialist civil engineering business, working on one of the largest projects in the UK. This is a site focused position, working as part of a JV and have line management responsibility of a Health & Safety Advisor. The ideal candidate will have experience working in infrastructure industry and ideally to have managed or mentored a team or individuals.
The Senior Health & Safety Advisor will be responsible for:
Promoting a positive & proactive health & safety culture across the project and stakeholders
Undertake site inspections, accident investigation and report near misses when required
Line manage a Health & Safety Advisor on the project
The go to for health & safety advice, support and guidance
Engage with key stakeholder on the project and wider business.
The Senior Health & Safety Advisor will have:
3 years + experience working in health & safety
Experience in working in infrastructure or civil engineering
NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
Tech IOSH, ideally working towards Grad IOSH
Happy to work in a site focused position
