£30,000 - £40,000

Shirley Parsons is working alongside an international chemicals company that produces high quality products for organisations across the globe. This is a long term contract 24-36 months working for a major Fortune 500 company. In this role you’ll be responsible for safety administration in terms of the labelling of a variety of chemical products. You’ll be part of the wider safety team, starting in this role but with a path for long-term career progression. The chosen candidate will need to be commutable to Duxford, Cambs – but has the option to work from home 2 days per week.

The Safety Data Sheet Author will be responsible for:

- Conducting hazard classification and author Safety Data Sheets to meet global regulatory standards (GHS) and country-specific regulations.

- Manage customer ad-hoc requests for Safety Data Sheets.

- Develop regulatory content for multi-language health and safety labels.

- Manage the issue and distribution of revised Safety Data Sheets.

The Safety Data sheet author will have:

- Good written English language skills

- Ideally some exposure to a safety administration or chemistry background

- Able to work alongside team members

- Be in a commutable distance to Duxford, Cambridgeshire
